The guest speaker for this meeting was Dave Coover, Director of Training at the AIM Institute - www.aiminstitute.org. In this capacity, he provides seminars in software and business technology applications.

Mr. Coover is also the Vice-President of the Greater Nebraska Mac User Group - www.gnmug.org. He presented an overview of the iPod, a handheld device capable of delivering high quality audio files and now available with a small video screen. The iPod has been integrated with another series of software products that Apple provides called iLife. These programs allow for a full array of photo editing, web development, file sharing and related options.

Suddenly, one finds oneself in the digital life ... or not. This meeting will explore what these innovations mean to our personal lifestyle so we can make more informed choices or at least conscious observations. The trend is definitely upward towards digital integration. Apple has sold over 40 million iPods since the introduction two years ago. The device has been pivotol in boosting Apple's profitability and consumer image.
