The guest speaker for the meeting was Ted Granger, President of the Granger Group. Mr. Granger previously held management positions at Omaha.com and First National Bank before starting his own company. The Granger Group provides a content management software solution for web development. According to the web site - www.GrangerGroup.com - the solution "empowers businesses to build, manage and edit websites within a centrally controlled, standards-based environment." The critical issues of simplicity of operation, workflow flexibility, ease of content display and the choice of internal or external web hosting provide a compelling product. Mr. Granger provided an overview of content management methodologies, the research behind workflow systems and how the product was developed.
