Our speakers were Dave Andersen & Jeff Hicks of 21st Century Systems,
Inc. Now located in the Scott Technology Center, 21CSI
was founded in April 1996 as a privately held software development
company. 21CSI has pioneered intelligent agent-based real-time decision
support systems (DSS) for human decision makers operating mission- and
life-critical applications. After over five years of extensive and
highly successful innovation, 21CSI's business is now branching into
three well-defined areas.
- Research and Technological Innovation.
- Advanced System Transition and Product Development.
- COTS Product Development and Commercialization.
This will be a very interesting example of the types of innovative
companies in the Scott Technology Center, the value of local support and
the impact these companies can have on the industry. 21CSI has acquire
a multimillion-dollar Department of Defense contract on their decision
support system. They have hired local and national talent to fulfill
the contract and have alliances with national companies in the defense
industry. We look forward to hearing more about their business progress.
