The guest speaker for this meeting was Blaine Burnham, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Nebraska University Consortium on Information Assurance - NUCIA. Dr. Burnham spoke on the "Broadband Access." The particular focus concerned economic issues around deployment, the effect on economic development and the impact on rural areas. Other areas of interest to the ITC audience were discussed as requested regarding information assurance.
