Guest speakers for this meeting were be Bob Haley, Branch Manager for Major Accounts, Ed Anneberg, Data and Global Account Representative, and Gary Boe, Account Executive, of Worldcom Inc. They presented and discussed the "generation d" product continuum that you have seen recently advertised. Generation d is a phrase used to describe the new direction and generation of digital communication products and services offered by WorldCom. Within WorldCom, generation d also describes the employee base qualified to present and service these products.

The discussion included a review of web hosting and internet protocol virtual private network products (IP-VPN). Web hosting is when a third party houses your internet web site on their server. This housing or hosting can be transparent to your site visitors. Virtual private networks are public networks that can be based on internet protocol featuring encryption for heightened security.
